Monday's Stocks to Watch

McDonald's (MCD) is on close watch to start the week. According to Google search trends, Resturant Brand’s (QSR) “Whopper” trended strongly compared to theMcDonald’s Arch burger.
In the last quarter, QSR’s Burger King posted a comparable sales gain of 8.5% in U.S. markets. This trend could shake investor confidence in MCD stock. Still, shares bounced from a bullish multiple bottom pattern at around $265.
In the buy now pay later space, watch Sezzle (SEZL). Shares dropped by 33.89% last Friday to close at $118.02. The firm posted strong gross merchandise volume in May, compared to its December holiday GMV.
Sezzle increased its full-year targets. Revenue will grow by 35% Y/Y, at the top end of its prior 30% to 35% range. The company will cut marketing spending into Q3. However, it will likely continue spending to promote basic awareness for SezzleCash and Sezzle Send.
In the drinks sector, watch Celsius Holdings (CELH). The stock fell from $30 to a low of below $24 last week. Last Friday, CELH stock rallied by nearly 17%. Rockstar Energy founder Russ Savage took a position in the company. He wants to shake up Celsius’s management.
Savage sold Rockstar to Pepsi in 2020 for $3.85 billion. He holds 12 million CELH shares. The position suggests that Savage could force changes in current management.
