QMX Boasts about Val d’Or Find

Whether there is any truth to rumours that gold is a diminishing resource, companies big and small engaged in gathering the shiny yellow metal are still hard at it, in hopes of moving ahead of the pack of gold miners.

Tuesday, Toronto-based QMX Gold Corporation (TSX:Venture:QMX) came out with additional assay results from the Winter 2020 drilling program from the Bonnefond Deposit, located in the Val d’Or East Zone of QMX’s extensive land package in Val d’Or, Quebec.

QMX found deposits of 1.18 g/t gold (Au) over 136.2 metres including 12.14 g/t Au over three metres in the Bonnefond intrusive.

CEO Brad Humphrey commented, “In the coming weeks and months, we look forward to a number of key catalysts including, the Bonnefond resource update and further drill results from Bonnefond and River and the initial results from the Poulmaque target.”

QMX shares advanced a penny, or 5.7%, as the clock approached noon EDT Tuesday to 18.5 cents, on volume of 533,000.
