Google parent company Alphabet (GOOGL) has introduced new artificial intelligence (A.I) tools that can create advertisements.
The company is expanding it’s A.I. products as it seeks to capitalize on growing demand from businesses for the technology.
Alphabet said its latest A.I. products will enable advertisers to run ads on its popular Google search engine that are created using generative A.I.
Marketers and advertisers will also be able to draw on text from their product landing pages to create advertisements and use A.I. to automatically generate slogans and product descriptions that are more relevant to customer online searches.
Advertisers can use Alphabet’s new “Product Studio” to find product images with the help of generative A.I., the company said in a blog post.
Merchants will be able to improve the quality of low-resolution images, remove unwanted backgrounds, or add elements into a product image, such as plants in the background.
As technology companies such as Alphabet and Microsoft (MSFT) race to introduce new generative A.I. products, some analysts have expressed concern that the tools will be used to spread misinformation online.
Alphabet said its policies prevent advertisers from misrepresenting the products and services they provide, and that the company’s A.I. tools contain measures meant to prevent abuse.
Alphabet’s stock has increased 16% in the last 12 months to trade at $122.56 U.S. per share.
