International Business Machines Corp (NYSE: IBM) (Q1) EPS estimates of $2.07, compared to $2.91 in the prior-year quarter. This week, Sichuan Nanchong Dangdai Transport Industry Group, the largest extra-long distance road passenger transportation service group in Sichuan province, China, announced a new e-ticketing solution using IBM's Linux-only computing platform LinuxONE. Customers will now be able to purchase tickets through the company's website, mobile app, social media or vending machines.

International Transactions in Securities (Feb.) Foreign acquisitions of Canadian securities reached $13.5 billion in January, mainly private corporate debt instruments. At the same time, Canadian investors reduced their holdings of foreign securities by $13.8 billion, principally equities.
