Hannover House Taps Five More for Marketing & Distribution Team

[ACCESSWIRE]

SPRINGDALE, AR / ACCESSWIRE / September 10, 2015 / Hannover House, Inc. (OTC: HHSE) has announced five new hires to assist in the marketing and distribution divisions of the emerging independent studio. All positions are effective immediately, and all will work out of the corporate offices and warehouse in Springdale, Arkansas. The company stated that these new staff positions were needed to better manage the company’s rapidly growing release slate of feature films for both the theatrical and home video arenas.

Internet marketing executive, entrepreneur and design specialist Desiree Garnier has been hired as Director of Promotion for the company. Jayson Blocksidge has been hired as Film Booker. Taylor Wyatt is the company’s director of technical services, and Tyrone Welch and Melissa Welch have been added to the company’s marketing-support team. Additional information on the backgrounds and qualifications of these individuals will be posted on the company’s website, which is currently being redesigned and updated.

Hannover House was founded in 1993, and has remained remarkably resilient over the past 21 years as the media landscape has evolved. The company’s original focus into book publishing was eclipsed with the addition of DVD products in 2002, and has since grown to a library of more than 280 films. The direction to focus more staff and corporate resources towards theatrically released films is expected to enhance home video and video-on-demand values, as well as provide Hannover House with the opportunity to deliver a break-out hit at the box office. Historically, theatrical hits have been the determining factor in elevating smaller, independent studios into major media players. Companies such as New Line Cinema, Lionsgate and Summit each emerged from relative obscurity as media distributors into mainstream visibility and significant revenue growth following singular theatrical results.

Current theatrical releases for Hannover House, Inc. and Medallion Releasing, Inc. include "Bonobos: Back to the Wild," "The Algerian" and "Dark Awakening," all of which are still in theatres.
