Yield Growth Widens Global Footprint, Heads Into Lucrative U.S. Cannabis Markets

Through its portfolio of cannabis, hemp and mushroom companies, The Yield Growth Corp. (CSE: BOSS)(OTCQB: BOSQF) has a global presence. In the coming weeks, the footprint is getting bigger with the company’s Wright & Well THC and CBD products hitting shelves at retailers in Oregon.

Oregon has been a pioneer in cannabis, ending marijuana prohibition in 2015 through the passage of Measure 91. Legal marijuana sales in Oregon rose about 29% in 2018 to nearly $550 million and are expected to top $1 billion in 2023, according to Statista. It’s working out great for the state, which raked in $102 million in tax revenue during fiscal 2019, ended June 30th.

Here Comes Yield Growth

Vancouver-based Yield Growth’s Wright & Well brand is an Ayurveda-inspired collection of topicals and edibles infused with THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, the psychedelic compound in cannabis) and CBD (cannabidiol, a non-psychedelic compound of cannabis and hemp). CBD is widely acclaimed for a bevy of medicinal uses, including aiding muscle recovery and relieving chronic pain.

Ayurvedic medicine is one of the oldest holistic healing methods on Earth, with its history going back more than 3,000 years. The brand’s name, a homonym of “right and well,” and wordplay on “Wright” meaning “a maker of,” aligns with the ancient Ayurvedic principles of homeostasis coming from the proper balance of mind, body and spirit.

W&W uses a patented proprietary extraction process to produce the highest-grade cannabis sativa (hemp) root oil for its goods. The company has collected all necessary approvals from the Oregon Liquor Control Commission to commence sales of the first products, including:

- BE LOVED - Marijuana-infused Massage Oil, with Purple Hindu Kush Oil & CBD Isolate;

- BE RELIEVED - Marijuana-infused Gel with Purple Hindu Kush & CBD Isolate;

- BE FREE - Marijuana-infused Balm with Purple Hindu Kush and CBD Isolate; and

- BE BETTER - Hemp CBD Tinctures in Regular Strength and Extra Strength.

The new Wright & Well products will enter the Oregon market in January and are available for order now by retailers through Yield Growth partner Nova Paths, a licensed cannabis manufacturer with a distribution network spanning more than 400 licensed cannabis retailers across the state.

The company also this week launched the website www.wrightandwellplus.com to support sales of the new Wright & Well topical products in Oregon. The crisp and educational website is part of a broader marketing strategy focused on a frontline sales team, packaging, displays, in-store experience and informative budtenders.

Product launches are where management at Yield Growth shines, leaning on decades of experience at global brands like Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ), Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG), M·A·C Cosmetics, Skechers (NYSE:SKX) and Aritzia (TSX:ATZ).

BOSS management also has its sights set on entering the massive California cannabis market in 2020. Elsewhere, Yield Growth’s U.S. subsidiary, W&W Manufacturing Inc., is currently developing a CBD from hemp product line with a CBD online marketplace for planned launch in the coming months. Hemp became federally legal at the start of 2019 with the 2018 Farm Bill signed into law by President Trump last December.

Yield Growth is building on the tremendous success it is already experiencing with its Urban Juve skincare products as it grows into a diversified consumer goods company targeting the $4.2 trillion global wellness market.
