AEROCAST APPOINTS BUSINESS ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS

07/30/2010 [ACCESSWIRE]

July 26, 2010: Aerocast Inc. (CNSX: A; Frankfurt Stock Exchange: 0AE; www.aerocastinc.com) announces the appointment of Arvin Loudermilk and Jay Donkersloot to the company's business advisory board.

Arvin Loudermilk started his career as a draftsperson with Garrett Turbine Engine Company. After a number of years at Garrett Turbine, he worked at a couple of small manufacturing companies in the Phoenix area, and in 1975 he founded CAD Enterprises, a company of which he is still the president. CAD Enterprises is a very high tech precision aerospace manufacturing and processing facility. It has full machining and grinding capabilities up to and including 5 axes. CAD Enterprises also has electron beam welding, vacuum furnace brazing and heat treating, digital x-ray, and numerous EDM capabilities. CAD Enterprises is a growing business that is recognized as one of the top fuel systems suppliers in the world. Through Arvin's leadership, CAD Enterprises has grown almost every year over the past 35 years, even in bad economic times. CAD Enterprises currently encompasses four buildings totaling nearly 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space.

Jay Donkersloot started his career as a machinist at Advanced Materials Technology Inc. (AMTI), an aerospace facility based in Tempe, Arizona. Jay later became shop manager and then general manager of ATMI and, after several years as general manager, Jay bought the company from its previous owners. Under Jay's leadership, AMTI grew to a business employing over 350 people operating 24 hours a day with over 100 customers throughout the world. AMTI's processes included plasma, thermal and HVOF coatings, pack cementation coatings, hot isostatic pressing, fluoride ion cleaning, vacuum furnace brazing and heat treating, electron beam welding as well as a full complement of machining and grinding capabilities. Jay sold the company in 1996 to the Triumph Group, which still owns the business. Jay joined CAD Enterprises in January 2010 after several years of investing in small businesses and developing industrial real estate in the Phoenix area.
