New Audio Tour App Cultural Roadmapp is Now Available to the Public

[ACCESSWIRE]

Created with Motorists in Mind, Cultural Roadmapp Helps Travelers Get More out of their Adventures by Allowing them to Hear the Untold Secrets of their Destinations

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / July 6, 2016 / Deborah Schull, a writer and producer who has created audio tours and apps for places such as the Smithsonian Institution and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, recently unveiled her newest project to the public: Cultural Roadmapp. The app, which contains more than 12 hours of content per location, makes a revolutionary travel companion--especially because it is hands free.

Cultural Roadmapp is an audio tour that works using geolocation. The app works in the background while travelers visit new locations, allowing them to listen to interviews, hear about world-class performances, get a taste of local humor, and tune into other stories about the area. Cultural Roadmapp's first tour takes listeners through Ireland's west coast--more specifically: County Clare. Scheduled for a St. Patrick's Day 2017 launch, Cultural Roadmapp will eventually cover the entire Wild Atlantic Way.

The app, which was developed to help users enjoy their trips by letting them keep their eyes on the view and hands on the wheel, uses state-of-the-art geo-fencing technology, hands-free automation, the stories of leading historians and folklorists, and the music of local musicians to create an unforgettable travel experience.

To help bring Cultural Roadmapp to more people, Schull and her team have created an Indiegogo campaign. The team is currently raising funds to bring Cultural Roadmapp to development, and in return for the public's support, donors can receive a number of perks--like exclusive podcasts and themed content.

"In less than a year, we could all be cruising Ireland's Atlantic coast--to cool breezes and the sounds of local music, history, archeology, poetry, architecture, dance, ichthyology, and much more," said Schull. "And in under two years, we could have the entire Wild Atlantic Way covered."

Individuals who wish to learn more about the project can visit Cultural Roadmapp's Indiegogo page for additional information.
