'The Hacker' Tells the Story of a 17-Year-Old Hacker who is Held Captive by a Government Official
LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / August 25, 2016 / Julia "JayEz" Schnorrer, a writer who has published over 50 works of fanfiction, is pleased to announce the upcoming release of her suspense film "The Hacker."

As Schnorrer noted, "The Hacker" tells the gripping story of a 17-year-old hacker named Colin who is handcuffed to a brand-new table in a barn. The film, which is inspired by her "Loyal in Adversity" Bondlock fanfiction story promises plenty of suspense and intrigue.
Colin is being held captive by a government official who has the ability to give the teen a second chance at life, or ruin it forever. Schnorrer expects that the newly released film will appeal to the passionate fanfic readers, as well as people who are already fans of the Bond-Sherlock inspired genre.
"I have gathered an energetic and highly-motivated cast and crew and together we will rehearse and shoot the nine-page script from September 5-8 in an actual, hand-built barn," Schnorrer said, adding that she is looking forward to the release of her second short film, which is being created with the help of a diverse team from Germany, the UK, and Mexico.
For people who are unfamiliar with the term "fanfiction," Schnorrer notes that it is fiction that is written about a previously existing work or source. In this case, "Loyal Adversity" is a crossover of both James Bond and Sherlock Holmes stories.
In order to help pay for the production costs associated with filming "The Hacker," Schnorrer recently launched a fundraiser on Indiegogo. She hopes to raise €5,050 through crowdfunding, and she is looking forward to having donors become part of the community that will fund the fanfic-inspired suspense film.
"Much like fandom and fanfic, filmmaking is a team effort. Just like every writer needs their beta, a 'low budget' project like ours wouldn't make it to the first day of filming without an inspiring community of supporters," she said.
