Evolving releases drilling results, hits 52-week high

Evolving Gold (V.EVG) hit a new 52-week high of 68 cents; Evolving Gold Corp. has announced an update on the definition drilling at its Rattlesnake Hills bulk tonnage gold deposit in Wyoming. Rattlesnake is an alkalic diatreme gold system, with similar geology to the Cripple Creek gold deposit in Colorado.

Three core drills are currently operating at Rattlesnake to test the extensions of high grade gold mineralization identified in 2008 and to expand the bulk tonnage halo gold mineralization that surrounds the high grade gold. The Company is well funded with approximately $16,000,000 in treasury to aggressively explore this project.

Drill hole RSC-020 intersected 67.1 metres at 10.8 gpt (grams per ton) gold, (220 ft at 0.315 oz/ton) including 36.6 metres at 16.8 gpt gold (120 ft at 0.492 oz/ton). The 36.6-metre interval also contains 12.2 metres at 39.3 gpt gold (40 ft at 1.147 oz/ton) and a single 1.5-metre intersection of 155 gpt gold (5 ft at 4.526 oz/ton).

The aggregate composite inclusive of the halo gold mineralization is 185.5 metres at 4.29 gpt gold (610 ft at 0.125 oz/ton).
