Futures on Canada’s largest stock market were little changed on Thursday, ahead of a shortened trading session on Christmas Eve.
The S&P/TSX composite index spiked 202.05 points, or 1.5%, to close Wednesday at 13,284.91, with March futures off 0.09%.

Canadian gaming company Amaya Inc has been ordered by a Kentucky court to pay $870 million in penalties to cover alleged losses by the state's residents who played real-money poker on PokerStars' website between 2006 and 2011.
The recent agreement between Valeant Pharmaceuticals International and Walgreens Boots Alliance may salvage the drug maker's relationships with physicians, but investors say it is unlikely to restore fully Valeant's previous revenue growth from high-priced, branded drugs.

U.S. stock futures are barely moving. U.S. exchanges will close early -- at 1 p.m. ET -- for Christmas Eve and will reopen on Monday, Dec. 28.
Ahead of the opening bell, futures for the Dow Jones Industrials eked up 22 points, or 0.1%, to 17,494, futures for the S&P 500 squeezed up a point, or 0.1%, to 2,054. NASDAQ futures acquired eight points, or 0.2 %, to 4,615.75
Nike fell 2% Wednesday ahead of a stock split that will see its shares trading at a new price on Thursday.
Bed Bath & Beyond is down another 6% in pre-market trading, having tumbled 4.5% Wednesday after weak third quarter guidance and an analyst downgrade.
Hyatt Hotels' shares may be affected after the company suffered a computer hack. The shares closed 3% higher Wednesday despite confirming that malware was found in its customer payment systems.
Celgene was up 8% in pre-markets after the biotech firm resolved a drug patent suit. The same news sent shares 10% higher Wednesday.
The few open European markets aren't doing much in early trading. Many will close at their lunchtime, while Frankfurt and Milan are closed all day.
Asian markets ended mixed. Japan ended down 0.5% after being closed Wednesday.
Oil prices gained 18 cents to $37.68 U.S. a barrel
Gold prices hiked $2.90 to $1,073.40 U.S. an ounce.
