Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) today announced Michael D. Brasseur, a pioneer in the U.S. Navy’s operational integration of maritime robotics, autonomy, and AI, has joined the company as an executive vice president. Brasseur will play a critical leadership role in shaping the company’s defense technology business, as well as partnership and innovation strategies.
A 26-year Navy veteran, Brasseur served as founding Commodore of Task Force 59, the service’s first dedicated unit for unmanned systems and AI. Under Brasseur’s leadership, Task Force 59 evolved from concept to full operational capability in less than 18 months and accumulated over 35,000 hours employing maritime robotics above, on, and below the water in support of the warfighter.
Years later, Task Force 59 continues to serve as a model for innovation in rapid adoption of dual-use technology to solve operational challenges within the Department of War.

BAH shares lost 38 cents to $69.87.
