Toast (NYSE:TOST) shares were flat Thursday. The company, the global technology platform built for restaurant and retail businesses, today announced an agreement with Ruby Tuesday, a leading casual American bar and grill chain, to implement Toast enterprise technology across Ruby Tuesday restaurants systemwide.
Ruby Tuesday selected Toast because of its ability to help them evolve the technology experience for their employees and guests. It will leverage Toast Go® 3 handhelds, Toast Flex 3 terminals, and Toast Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), in addition to Toast Payment Processing to help them deliver the outstanding service and uncompromising quality that defines their hospitality. The introduction of Toast Go® 3 handhelds, in particular, will help support order accuracy and efficiency at Ruby Tuesday, allowing the team to focus on the neighborhood comfort and gracious hospitality the brand is known for.
“At Ruby Tuesday, authentic hospitality and commitment to our guests has always been at the heart of what we do,” said Kevin FitzPatrick, Chief Marketing Officer at Ruby Tuesday. “Toast gives us the technology to enhance the guest experience as we position the brand for the future. We’re excited to leverage these tools to build on what we do best: serving uncompromisingly fresh meals and enjoyable experiences that keep our guests coming back.”
TOST shares descended 27 cents, or 0.8%, to $35.09.
