Prudential Remains Rock Solid (PRU)

Prudential’s (PRU) rock symbol is an icon of strength, stability, expertise and innovation that has stood the test of time. The company’s businesses offer a variety of products and services, including life insurance, annuities, retirement-related services, mutual funds, investment management, and real estate services.

Investors are getting an opportunity to pick up shares of this stock at roughly 30% off all-time highs. We recently added shares to our “Recommended” list, and think the stock, at barely 10 times earnings, is a solid investment for long-term holders. The company has a 1.56% dividend yield, based on Friday’s closing stock price of $73.71.
