Standard Lithium Shares Rally On Positive Geophysical Survey Results

Shares of Standard Lithium Ltd. (TSX-Venture:SLL) (OTCQX:STLHF) are perking higher as the company announced earlier this morning positive results from their completed Controlled-Source Audio-Magnetotellurics / Magnetotellurics (CSAMT/MT) geophysical survey at the Company’s Bristol Lake Project, in the Mojave area of California.

According to the report, extensive low resistivity values were noticed across almost all of the company’s 16,000+ acre claim package, suggesting that lithium brines are present beneath almost all of Standard’s claims.

Jim Hasbrouck, president of Hasbrouck Geophysics, also chimed in on the results, saying "Resistivity values less than one ohm-metre are present throughout the Bristol Lake Project area with portions of the area having resistivities that approach an extremely low value of 0.2 ohm-metres. These resistivities are the lowest that I have measured in the US for lithium-brine exploration and are similar to those seen in the lithium triangle of Chile, Argentina and Bolivia."

The positive geophysical survey results have pushed shares upwards to the tune of 6.38% in morning trading with SLL trading at $1.00 at last check as the stock tries to climb back to its 52-week high of $1.25.
