Investors were in a buying mood on Tuesday as GreenPower Motor Company Inc. (TSX-Venture:GPV) (OTCQX:GPVRF) announced that it has received an order for 100 buses from Creative Bus Sales, the U.S.’s largest bus dealer for sales, parts and service and GreenPower’s exclusive authorized factory representative.
The 100-bus order represents the Company’s largest order to date which sent shares up over 20% to $0.65 on very strong volume and also to their 52-week high as of mid-afternoon trading.
The President of Creative Bus Sales, Tony Matijevich said: "Creative Bus Sales and GreenPower have been working together behind the scenes for months now including training and joint sales calls. This order reflects our commitment to amazing EV buses that GreenPower designs and manufactures and our ability to sell and support them!"
Creative’s order for 100 GreenPower buses over 18 months includes the 15 buses for inventory and demonstration that are on order with GreenPower.
