Eyecarrot Inks Deal with European Distributor

It’s clear to see that aggressive companies are throwing in their lot with their cousins across the Atlantic, and seeing those deals strengthen their bottom line.

Tuesday brought word that Toronto-based Eyecarrot Innovations Corp (TSX-Venture:EYC) had hammered out a distribution deal with VISUS ® Contactlinsen GmbH, with Europe's leading vision rehabilitation distribution organization. Initial trial units were tested late last year and the first shipment of up to 100 units should be off to markets within 60 days, mostly in Germany and Spain.

Eyecarrot's Binovi Touch Saccadic Fixator is now available through VISUS and will be showcased at the upcoming SIODEC conference in Granada, Spain.

According to CEO Adam Cegielski, "We are excited to secure a partnership with this leading ophthalmic distributor for the Binovi Touch Saccadic Fixator. Our initial market feedback has been outstanding, and we have implemented language translations with our software to cater to a very strong market for us in Europe."

Shares gained a cent and a half, or 8.8%, to 18.5 cents, noon time Tuesday, on volume of 785,000
