Strong Test Results Boost Lithium Stock

Given the market for lithium ion batteries, Kelowna, B.C. based-Enertopia Corporation (OTC:ENRT) had reason to be enthused early Tuesday afternoon, on release its lithium project and synthetic solution testing update.

Since March Enertopia has been running in-house tests to recover lithium in the most cost-effective manner from synthetic brine solutions produced by leaching samples from the December 2018 drilling program from ENRT’s project in Clayton Valley, Nevada.

Last year’s bulk samples have been looked over, and then, the company determined to have the particle size of the sample sorted and assays for each fraction completed to see if pre-sorting by grain fraction size could reduce the amount of claystone to process and possibly boost the head grade of the remaining claystone.

Therefore, ENRT reports that 16.5% of the sample which was composed of mainly coarser material contained only 2.5% of the lithium. The remaining 82.5% of the sample size contained 97.5% of the lithium

Volume on ENRT stock was not earth-shaking by early Tuesday afternoon EDT – only 31,000 – but investors who got in early with the stock are patting themselves on the back for its improvement of 41-100ths of a cent, or 21.1%, to 2.35 cents.
