Fintech Select Ltd. (TSX-Venture:FTEC) perked on small-cap markets, on disclosing a net profit of $765,000, and a reduction in liability by $1.9 million.
The Toronto-based Fintech, a provider of Pre-Paid Card programs, mobile banking solutions and Cryptocurrency technologies, announced financial figures Wednesday. The company believes that the recent acquisition of the e-wallet technology and online payment platform will broaden its services portfolio and is expected to contribute to new revenue generation.
In the words of CEO Mohammad Abuleil, “We are also excited about the recent acquisition of the e-wallet and online payment platform and believe it perfectly aligns with the company’s mission to provide customers with choice, convenience, and cost-effective ways to facilitate their financial transactions.”
Fintech shares took off like a Saturn rocket, gaining 1.5 cents, or 42.9%, to five cents, on volume in excess of 1.4 million shares.
