Why Apple Remains a Great Value Play at These Levels

Shares of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) remain more than 25% below the company's peak last October, with investors continuing to question the growth trajectory of the money-printing machine which is known as Apple.

The technology mega-giant has certainly experienced its fair share of headwinds, with iPhone growth expectations slashed and the long term outlook of many of its business segments in question amid macroeconomic concerns such as what may be an impending recession as well as trade tensions between the U.S. and China.

Given the significant price cut investors have received at the hands of Mr. Market in recent months, those who are bullish on the long-term prospects of Apple may want to think about adding a position here, considering the company's massive cash position and the ability to continue to innovate into new consumer segments.

The market tends to over-react to news that will indeed have an impact in the near term, but which may not necessarily impact the cash flows of a giant such as Apple in a meaningful way over the long run (or at least not to the degree to which the equity valuation has been impacted).

Investors ought to remember that Apple's ecosystem of products continues to provide a somewhat insulated revenue stream, and the company is likely to be able to continue to charge a premium relative to its competitors for quite some time due to the premium market position the tech giant has carved out for itself.

Invest wisely, my friends.
