Solar Alliance Boasts Record Sales

The sun is shining, in more ways than one, on Solar Alliance Energy Inc. (TSX-Venture:SOLR) these days.

The company, with headquarters in both Vancouver and Knoxville, Tenn., announced Monday strong progress in sales of its SunBox residential solar product launched earlier this year.

All figures are listed in U.S. dollars.

Monday’s news release cited year-to-date figures of $594,000 in sales of residential systems of which about $245,000 was completed and installed while another $349,000 was contracted and in various stages of installation.

Last year, the comparable residential sales figures was a mere $223,397.

Residential solar system sales in 2019 are on track to exceed $1.1 million and have already exceeded all of 2018 sales by 266% with six months left in the fiscal year. SunBox is a complete solar solution that comes in two standard residential systems sizes with options such as a generator for whole home backup and a Tesla electric vehicle charger.

Shares grabbed a penny, or 20%, late Monday morning to six cents, on volume of 468,000 shares.
