Companies straddle the fence these virus-fear-tainted days between business-as-usual and being locked in fear.
Some, instead of folding the tent while this pandemic plays itself out, merely adapt to the new reality.
The leaders in today’s market reports appear to be in technology, that sector showing itself the strongest of all, faltering but 0.7% in New York, compared to an advance of 1.3% in Canada.
Phoenix-based Alpine 4 Technologies' (OTC:ALPP) subsidiaries Morris Sheet Metal Corp, Deluxe Sheet Metal, Inc., and Quality Circuit Assembly, Inc. today announced that they have collectively secured several new health care building projects for its hospital clientele to build isolation rooms and medical-grade air sensor and monitoring PO's.
Said CEO Kent Wilson, "Just like most businesses in the U.S. right now, Alpine 4 and our subsidiaries face unprecedented work constraints. We persevere, doing the work that our communities require. I want to say thank you to our employees who continue to do this mission-critical and essential work."
"Our focus," Monday’s news release concluded, “is on how the adaptation of new technologies, including brick and mortar businesses, can drive innovation. We also believe that our holdings should benefit synergistically from each other and that the ability to have collaboration across varying industries can spawn new ideas and create fertile ground for competitive advantages.”
Shares in ALPP scaled the mountain (sorry!) 4.69 cents, or 67%, to 11.69 cents, on volume topping 4.4 million shares.
