Drug Company Shares Vault in Fight Vs. COVID-19

Perhaps because it is seen as addressing its efforts toward treating and, in time, preventing a reappearance of the coronavirus, any news concerning New York-based Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp. (NASDAQ:TNXP) will move markets.

On Monday, the company, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, licensing, acquiring and developing drugs and biologics to treat and prevent human disease and alleviate suffering, announced CEO Seth Lederman will be conducting a virtual presentation in conjunction with the Planet MicroCap Showcase Virtual Investor Conference on this Wednesday.

The day before that, Dr. Lederman will participate in a MicroCap Investing Workshop panel discussion titled, “Potential Solutions for Addressing the Coronavirus Pandemic,” scheduled for Tuesday.

TNXP shares climbed five cents, or 6.8%, to 79 cents.
