J. Craig Aims for Sky in Announcement

Transparency and honesty often go a long way to establishing a presence in a business, particularly one trading publicly in shares.

In the United States, financial-based companies gained 0.3% as a sector, while in Canada (though it is unrepresented in this column today), the sector perked 0.4%.

On Tuesday, Huntington Beach, Calif.-based J. Craig Holding Corp., formerly known as Ultra Pure Water Technologies, Inc. (OTC:UPWT), an accelerator and incubator for innovative businesses, intellectual properties and assets, trumpeted recent achievements and upcoming events.

For starters, the companies are now in good standing with the state of Delaware, was brought current on the OTCIQ, its website was just updated, new management hired and its name change accepted by the authorities at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)

The company also hopes over the next month or so to finalize its name and ticker change to reflect its new company’s direction.

J. Craig is a California-based holding company focusing on acquisition and support of both distressed and emerging companies within a multitude of industry sectors. It hopes soon to have initial assets in the sports technology, equipment and entertainment industry.

Shares in UPWT neared the close Tuesday up 5.4% to 2.74 cents, on volume of 193,000 shares.
