Not all companies are in basic industries or even health-care related concerns.
There’s a firm out of Clearwater, Florida called Endurance Exploration Group, Inc., (PINK:EXPL), which specializes in shipwreck research and recovery, and which, with its subsidiary, Caird Exploration, have joined forces into a film production access and film usage support contract.
The two fall under the heading of communications companies, which in New York, tumbled 4.3%. Nothing within the realm of communications qualified in Canada, where the sector lost 1.2%.
The contract is a multi-party agreement which calls for the EXPL and Caird to provide a well-known, independent film production company access to a number of E/C's proprietary known shipwrecks and other proprietary subsea targets.
The producer is under contract to produce a documentary for an internationally recognized network channel which focuses on historical media content, and will use the content derived from its subsea filming of the two companies' targets in its upcoming documentary.
The contract is expected to generate approximately $250,000 in revenue for Endurance and Caird, and, more importantly, will provide them with a number of cost free days of vessel and ROV time that will be used to inspect and evaluate its proprietary targets to determine the commercial feasibility of their immediate salvage.
Endurance towered over Wednesday’s close, gaining 44.4% to five cents within an hour of Thursday’s close, on volume of 156,000 shares
