Vancouver-Based Mining Company Holding Onto Gains

A small Vancouver-based mining company has been trading up today on news that it announced that the company has filed a new National Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101) technical report covering the Platreef Integrated Development Plan 2020. Ivanhoe Mines (OTCQZ:IVPAF) traded up to an intraday high of $4.85/share (+3.6%) following the news.

Ivanhoe Mines Ltd (TSX:IVN) is a mineral exploration and development company. The company together with its subsidiaries explores, develops and recovers minerals and precious gems from its property interests located in Africa. The group explores for platinum, nickel, copper, gold, silver, cobalt, iron, vanadium and chrome. It primarily operates four projects Kamoa Kakula, Western Foreland, Platreef, and Kipushi.

This move is a continuation of success that the stock has found over the last eight months.
