Healthcare Micro Cap Pops On Asset Acquisition News

A Louisiana-based healthcare company just agreed to purchase Med Tech Farms LLC. RedHawk Holding Corp. (OTCPK:SNDD) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, RedHawk Pharma LLC, has agreed to acquire certain cannabis assets of Med Tech Farms LLC, which is an Oklahoma-based start-up grower and supplier of cannabis products for a total of $1 million.

RedHawk is engaged in sales and distribution of medical devices, sales of branded generic pharmaceutical drugs, commercial real estate investment and leasing, sales of point of entry full-body security systems, and financial services. The activity of the group is operated through Land & Hospitality, Medical Device and Pharmaceutical, and Other Services segments.

The Land & Hospital and Other Services business units operate in the United States. The Medical Device and Pharmaceutical business unit operates in the United Kingdom. It derives revenue from several types of activities which includes medical device sales, branded generic pharmaceutical sales, commercial real estate leasing and financial services.

Traders seemed to be excited about the news as shares traded up to $0.0165/share (+33.06%) following the headline. This move was a strong bullish breakout above the trading range the stock was in for a few months prior to the move.
