Junior Miner Announces Ecotourism Project in Colombia

Ecotourism is a growing industry that has taken off in recent years. This junior miner is incorporating an eco-friendly tourist destination in its exploration strategies.

Collective Mining Ltd. (TSXV: CNL), an exploration and development company focused on identifying and exploring prospective gold projects in South America, announced a strategic alliance with the Government of Caldas, to develop a community-based ecotourism destination at Cerro Viringo.

Cerro Viringo, located within the municipality of Supía, is an important landform that has been declared an area of high environmental importance. Named "Ecotourism in the Cerro Viringo Natural Park," the project hopes to reactivate the economy of the Hojas Anchas village community.

Shares were flat in late-morning trade at $2.90.
