Water Remedy Solution Shares Up on Funding

The number of water-related issues — droughts, shortages, failing infrastructure — have driven a need for water solutions and this company is preparing its pilot program. The solution will allow commercial end-users to potentially treat their water without major capital expense.

A leading water revolution company, OriginClear Inc. (OTC Pink:OCLN) announced that it has received first investor funds into its Water On Demand #1 subsidiary. The funds will be used to purchase water equipment that customers will pay for as a service.

The commercial pilot program using such a pay-as-you-go water treatment contract is known in the water industry as Design-Build-Own-Operate (DBOO). Such contracts are typically indexed to local water rates, with the potential of an inflation-friendly investment over the long term.

Shares were up over 5% in early afternoon trading.
