CMC Hikes on Changes at Top

CMC Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ: CCMP), a leading global supplier of consumable materials primarily to semiconductor manufacturers, announced today that Scott D. Beamer has resigned as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company as of today.

Jeanette A. Press, the company’s current Principal Accounting Officer and Controller, has been appointed by the company’s Board of Directors to serve as Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, while the company undertakes a search for a permanent successor. The copmany goes on to say Beamer’s departure is not related to any disagreement with the company over its accounting principles or practices, or financial statement disclosures.

Said CEO David Li, "I want to thank Scott for his commitment and service over the past several years, during which CMC Materials continued our track record of profitable growth. We appreciate Scott’s financial leadership and wish him all the best in his future endeavors."
