CN Rail Reaches New Collective Agreement With Electrical Workers

Canadian National Railway (CNR) has reached a new three-year collective agreement with the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers union.

CN Rail says the collective agreement is retroactive to January 1 of this year and runs through
December 31, 2024. The deal includes a 3% wage increase annually in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

The railway said in a news release that it is satisfied to have concluded arbitration with the
electrical workers union and is now focused on getting back to business as usual.

The electrical workers union, which represents 750 signals and communications employees
across Canada, had agreed to binding arbitration in July, ending a two-week strike at that time.

CN Rail transports about 300 million tonnes of commodities and consumer goods across North
America annually.

So far this year, CN Rail’s stock is down 4% and trading at $148.96 per share.
