Wine Maker Boasts 79% Increase in Grape Yield As Result of Lead Product from Junior Company

We can make it better than it ever was. Better...stronger...faster. While that may be a derivative of the opening catch-phrase from the 1970’s popular television show The Six Million Dollar Man, it has become a way of business -- and perhaps life -- today.

Using modern technologies and innovations, products of all shapes are being built bigger and better in more expeditious manners than ever before. Whether it’s a vehicle that outstrips its predecessor or a new application to bring greater speed to wireless connections, the 21st century demands the highest levels of performance.

Food manufacturing is not excluded from the Lee Majors mentality. It may not be the first industry that springs to mind when referencing technological evolutions, but even food is subject to delivering a better product and maximizing production through superior goods.

A company that has brought to market a next-generation solution to bolstering crops is Bend, Oregon’s U.S. Rare Earth Minerals, Inc. (OTCBB:USMN). While the name would seem to imply "miner" that would not be a completely inaccurate assumption. Currently, Rare Earth Minerals is focused on the sale and distribution of Excelerite™ products which it derived from mining activities relating to natural mineral deposits (called calcium montmorillonite) and other natural minerals and nutrients.

In the future, the company plans to generate revenue from extraction and sales of certain rare earth minerals as well. For now, its re-mineralizing product is making a strong name for itself if the organic growth industry.

A name change (formerly U.S. Natural Nutrients and Minerals, Inc.) happened in the first half of 2011. A forward stock split was also executed, helping the company fund a full line of equipment, living accommodations and a large storage facility which are all now paid in full for their mineral collection efforts and production of the Excelerite product.

Excelerite was praised in September by nursery center Dennis’ 7 Dees General Manager David Etchepare, who stated, "Excelerite is making a big impact in our Garden Centers. This is a magical product! In my 35 years in the nursery business, I have never personally used or sold a re-mineralizing product that works so amazingly well in enhancing overall plant growth, health, yield, and bloom."

Dennis’ 7 Dees sold out of several size buckets and bags of the product quickly after the first shipment arrived.

Today, more accolades were released boasting the prowess of Excelerite. D. J. Maragas Wine Company, a pioneer in the cultivation of European varietals, reported significant grape yield increases since it began testing Excelerite natural minerals and nutrients in its vineyards last summer.

As explained by Doug Maragas, chairman of the board of Oregon Wine Growers Association and founder of Maragas Wine Co., "Despite the late start that most farms got off to in 2011 -- and with no special protection from weather, birds, or deer damage - the rows where we used Excelerite yielded 122 lbs. of grapes (vitis vinifera). The untreated rows weighed in at only 68.5 lbs. Excelerite increased our crop yields nearly 80%."

D.J. Maragas Wine Company has now expanded its usage to its entire crop production. Shares of USMN closed at $0.102 in trading on light volume of 39,000 shares.
