Air Canada Grounds Flights Due To Technical Glitch

Air Canada (AC) says it was forced to ground several flights across the country due to a technical problem.

The Montreal-based airline said it experienced an issue with one of its communications systems, forcing it to ground multiple aircraft across Canada.

However, the problem has now been resolved and the company is working to get the backlog of flights cleared.

In a statement, Air Canada said that it has lifted its “precautionary ground stop” order nationwide.

Air Canada’s stock is flat (down 0.46%) over the last 12 months and trading at $21.73 per share.
