SpaceX IPO Prospectus Could Be Issued Next Week

Multiple media reports say that SpaceX plans to publicly issue its initial public offering (IPO) prospectus within the next week.

The commercial space company led by Elon Musk is expected to go public in June in the largest IPO ever.

SpaceX is expected to raise $75 billion U.S. from its IPO at a valuation of $1.25 trillion U.S. That’s about twice the size of Saudi Aramco’s (Tadawul: 2222) record IPO held in 2019.

Reports say SpaceX plans to kick-off a roadshow to market its IPO to investors on June 8. The IPO prospectus needs to be disclosed at least 15 calendar days before the roadshow starts.

Hype is building around the SpaceX IPO, especially given the drought of new stock issuance on Wall Street since the Covid-19 pandemic.

Indications are that the IPO market is heating up after artificial intelligence (A.I.) chipmaker Cerebras Systems (CBRS) held a blockbuster market debut on May 14.

Cerebras’ stock nearly doubled in its first day of trading, giving the company a market capitalization of $95 billion U.S.

A.I. giants OpenAI and Anthropic are also pursuing IPOs for later this year, with each of those companies valued at more than $1 trillion U.S.
