These are the "Must-Hold" ChatGPT AI Plays

When ChatGPT opened its search to the public a few months ago, euphoria for artificial intelligence gripped the tech sector. Companies like c3.ai, Soundhound (SOUN), and Buzzfeed mentioned AI, create a massive stock rally.

Investors have only a few must-hold ChatGPT to consider.

Microsoft (MSFT) effectively owns ChatGPT. Its early belief in OpenAI puts the software giant in the lead. Bing search, never thought of as a contender to Google.com, is now a threat to Alphabet. ChatGPT may sub-search from Bing search results, drilling down on results. Google does not have that feature.

Microsoft could succeed if it takes on Google search customers at a time.

Despite falling behind, Alphabet stock is a “must-hold.” It spent years developing AI. It delayed a release on fears that the AI could cannibalize google search advertising revenue. Google may leverage its market share in the Chrome app and google search usage to push Bard, its AI.

Meta Platforms (META) does not want to fall behind. On Feb. 24, it unveiled a new machine-learning language. It released LLaMA (Large Language Model Meta AI). This will assist researchers in advancing their work in AI. Meta is heavily invested in the metaverse platform. This could distract the firm from its ChatGPT-like advancements.
