International Merchandise Trade (Mar.) Canada's imports declined 0.7% in February while exports were up 0.4%. Import volumes fell 1.7% while prices increased 1.1%.
For exports, volumes were down 3.3% while prices rose 3.9%. Consequently, Canada's merchandise trade deficit with the world narrowed from $1.5 billion in January to $984 million in February.
