Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. (NYSE: KKD) (Q2) EPS estimates of 17 cents, compared to 13 cents in the prior-year quarter. The donut chain announced in late August it would soon be opening 10 Krispy Kreme shops in Myanmar over the next five years.

Palo Alto Networks (NYSE: PANW) (Q4) EPS estimates for loss of 23 cents, compared to loss of 26 cents in the prior-year quarter.

Building Permits (July) The total value of building permits rose 14.8% to $7.7 billion in June, following a 13.9% decrease in May.

Housing Starts (August) Canadian Real Estate Association said national home sales activity edged back by 0.4% from June to July. Actual (not seasonally adjusted) activity stood 3.4% above July 2014 levels.
