Saskatchewan's first co-working space was open to the public Tuesday in celebration of International Co-working Day.
The Two Twenty in Saskatoon is a place that helps provide self-employed professionals, or those working for different employers, with resources they need to be productive in a workplace environment.
More than 140 entrepreneurs, social innovators, and small firms work at Two Twenty.
According to a spokesperson at The Two Twenty, which was founded in 2010, people working from home may sometimes feel isolated and cut off from the world. They are of the opinion that working in a co-working space can increase productivity for such self-employed workers.
