In Korea, the Kospi index declined 37.01 points, or 0.5%, to 8,051.33
In Singapore, the Straits Times 50 index added 15.52 points, or 0.3%, to 5,259.81
The Taiex index in Taiwan deleted 224.33 points, or 0.5%, to 46,556.39.
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 climbed 144.67 points, or 1.1%, to 13,763.09.
In Australia, the ASX fell 13.44 points, or 0.2% to 8,830.97.
