In Japan, the Nikkei 225 gained 806.46 points, or 1.3%, to 65,020.94.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng hiked 437.56 points, or 1.7%, to 25,650.87.
In other markets;
In Shanghai, the CSI index slipped 4.53 points, or 0.1%, to 4,548.05.
In Korea, the Kospi Index vaulted 107.73 points, or 1.6%, to 6,687.21
In Singapore, the Straits Times index gained 54.25 points, or 0.9%, to 5,801.96.
In Taiwan, the Taiex index popped 693.47 points, or 1.5%, to 46,551.13
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 climbed 128 points, or 0.9%, to 13,974.18
In Australia, the ASX 200 poked ahead 14.2 points, or 0.2%. to 9,005.89.
