In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng sagged 109.49 points, or 0.4%, to 24,604.29.

In Shanghai, the CSI index dipped 20.11 points, or 0.5%, to 4,460.16.
In Korea, the Kospi Index lopped off 2.56 points, or 0.04%, to 6,715.41
In Singapore, the Straits Times index recovered 25.11 points, or 0.5%, to 5,660.52.
In Taiwan, the Taiex index popped 439.1 points, or 1%, to 46,288
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 gained 133.87 points, or 1%, to 13,756.59
In Australia, the ASX 200 moved higher 35.88 points, or 0.4%. to 8,732.42.
