There’s Still Time to Jump into These Five Sky-High Drone Stocks

Distributed on behalf of ZenaTech.

Drone stocks, like ZenaTech (NASDAQ: ZENA), AeroVironment (NASDAQ: AVAV), Draganfly (NASDAQ: DPRO) (CSE: DPRO), Red Cat Holdings (NASDAQ: RCAT), and Ondas Holdings (NASDAQ: ONDS) are still flying high.

That’s all thanks to sky-high demand for drones from the U.S. government and businesses involved in inspections, surveying, maintenance, precision agriculture and inventory management, to name a few. Even better, the demand from the government and business for such services is helping to create a potential $355.55 billion drone-as-a-service (DaaS) market, as noted by Research and Markets.

It’s also a solid catalyst for drone stocks, such as ZenaTech’s ZenaDrone’s Drone as a Service (DaaS) business model, which has been providing businesses and government customers with a flexible and convenient on-demand pay-per-use or subscription access to drone-based services for a variety of surveying, inspections, and automation of old tech or manual process.

Its model also eliminates the need to invest in capital costs, pilots, maintenance, or regulatory compliance to benefit from drone innovation.

Expanding its Presence, ZenaTech Just Closed Its Tenth Acquisition of A&J Land Surveyor Inc., Expanding Drone as a Service (DaaS) to Florida’s Aviation, Utility, and Infrastructure Markets

ZenaTech just announced the closing of Jacksonville, Florida-based land survey and engineering firm, A&J Land Surveyor, Inc.

This marks a tenth acquisition for its growing Drone-as-a-Service businesses. A&J brings longstanding customer relationships and a foothold in Florida’s aviation, utility and infrastructure markets, which includes marine surveys.

As noted by Shaun Passley, Ph.D., ZenaTech CEO:

“By combining the A&J team’s years of survey expertise with our AI-driven DaaS platform we have an ideal, innovative combination of building capacity and speed for accelerating drone use in airport, utility, and infrastructure surveying. Florida remains a strategic growth market for us with favorable year-round flying conditions, a long-standing history as an aviation hub, and diverse terrain ranging from coastlines and port areas to agricultural land, wetlands, and disaster-prone areas. This unique environment drives strong demand for aerial inspection, mapping, surveying, crop monitoring, coastal erosion tracking, and emergency response.”

ZenaTech has now completed ten acquisitions toward its goal of acquiring and establishing 25 Drone-as-a-Service locations by mid-2026.

The company is acquiring land surveying and other businesses ripe for drone innovation, to advance its national vision for a scalable, tech-enabled multiservice drone business anchored by existing customers and recurring revenue.

Other related developments from around the markets include:

AeroVironment, a leading provider of advanced space and ground-based satellite communication technologies, is proud to announce a new firm‑fixed‑price (FFP) contract option with the U.S. Space Force Space Rapid Capabilities Office for the delivery of two BADGER phased array antenna systems to support the Satellite Communication Augmentation Resource (SCAR) program. This award represents the first FFP option being executed against the SCAR Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) to enhance the system performance and operational readiness to aid in swift deployment and operational resilience. Future production options remain open for additional SCAR systems. To meet the increasing demand signal and reinforce production pipelines for BADGER, AV has expanded manufacturing agreements with several key suppliers. This new framework strengthens the BADGER supply chain and ensures current and future orders for the SCAR program are backed by a robust, scalable production infrastructure—accelerating delivery timelines to meet operational demands. These steps will help drive cost and schedule uncertainty out of the program while delivering operational capability to the Space Force.

Draganfly, an industry-leading developer of drone solutions and systems, is pleased to announce the expansion of its U.S. manufacturing footprint, capability, and capacity across multiple locations in the United States. This will provide resiliency and redundancy within its manufacturing and supply chain ecosystem. The expansion includes additional AS9100- and ISO9001-certified manufacturing facilities and logistics locations, via its contract manufacturing partner, strengthening the Company’s ability to respond to rising demand for U.S.-made drones. This expansion comes at a pivotal moment for the U.S. drone industry. In a recent policy shift, the U.S. Secretary of Defense announced an initiative to accelerate domestic drone production and supply chain expansion. This directive supports the rapid scaling of industrial drone production capacity and a move away from lengthy acquisition cycles that have historically slowed the adoption of new technologies. Primary objectives of the directive include increased investment in U.S.-based manufacturers and a more streamlined approach to integrating drone systems across key government and public safety agencies.

Red Cat Holdings, a U.S.-based provider of advanced, all-domain robotic solutions for defense and national security, today announced a strategic collaboration with Safe Pro Group Inc., a leading provider of artificial intelligence (AI)-computer vision technologies. Through this collaboration, Safe Pro’s patented AI-powered image analysis technology will be embedded into Red Cat’s Black Widow drones, enabling U.S. and allied ground personnel to rapidly identify and locate more than 150 types of explosive threats including landmines, anti-personnel mines, cluster munitions, and unexploded ordnance (UXO) in real-time. The integration will allow Safe Pro’s Object Threat Detection (SPOTD) system to process real-time 4k video onboard the Black Widow at the tactical edge and deliver live threat data directly to military situational awareness platforms such as the U.S. Army’s Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) software ecosystem, enhancing and accelerating decision making critical to mission success.

Ondas Holdings, a leading provider of autonomous aerial and ground robot intelligence and private wireless solutions through its business units Ondas Autonomous Systems and Ondas Networks, announced that it has recently secured a $3.5 million order from a major defense entity. The contract includes the purchase of multiple units of Apeiro's rugged unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and designated mission payloads, enhancing the customer's robotic capabilities for security, logistics, and tactical operations. "We are proud to secure this important order under the Apeiro brand, which has quickly become a powerful innovation engine within Ondas," said Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas Holdings. "Ground robots are rapidly becoming indispensable for logistics, ISR, and tactical missions, where autonomous systems extend operational reach while reducing risk to personnel. By integrating Apeiro's combat-proven ground platforms within Ondas, we are positioning ourselves at the forefront of this large, high-growth global market. This award not only validates the demand for Apeiro's rugged, modular technologies but also strengthens our vision to deliver a multi-domain portfolio of autonomous solutions across air and land."
