Shares in the Asia-Pacific traded lower on Friday as investors weigh inflation data from several economies.
The Nikkei 225 dropped 116.38 points, or 0.4%, to conclude Friday and the week at 26,890.58.
Japan’s yen weakened further to touch 150.45 after breaching 150 against the dollar on Thursday. Japan’s core consumer prices for the month of September rose 3% compared to a year ago.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng lost 69.1 points, on 0.4%, to 16,211.12.

In Shanghai, the CSI 300 fell 12.04 points, or 0.3%, to 3,742.89.
In Singapore, the Straits Times Index gave up 52.75 points, or 1.8%, to 2,969.95.
In Taiwan, the Taiex faltered 126.9 points, or 1%, to 12,819.20.
In Korea, the Kospi index slid 4.97 points, or 0.2%, to 2,213.12.
In Australia, the ASX 200 tumbled 53.98 points, 0.8%, to 6,676.76.
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 gave back 49.67 points, or 0.5%, to 10,782.36.
