In Taiwan, the Taiex index gained 81.33 points, or 0.2%, to 47,800.17.
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 moved ahead 54.28 points, or 0.4%, to 13,875.48
In Australia, the ASX 200 jumped 25.94 points, or 0.2%, to 8,757.84.
