World Markets Continue Rally

World markets were once again strong on Friday, still riding the wave of the FOMC easing news from earlier this week that has driving markets north globally.

In Japan, the Nikkei 225 closed up 267.21 points, or 2.86%, to 9,625.99.

Japanese went on a tear after the Bank of Japan left its key rate unchanged and expanded its asset purchase program to real estate and stocks.

Shares of Toyota Motor Corp. rose by 1.86%.

Shares of electronics makers Sony Corp and Sharp Electronics were up .53% and 2.48%, respectively.

The strength of metals and raising its full year net outlook helped shares of Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. surge 6.08% on Friday.

China’s stocks continued rising for the sixth straight week as commodity producers rallied on Friday.

The Shanghai Composite closed up 42.56 points, or 1.38%, to 3,129.50.

Jiangxi Copper Co. (up 4.23%) and the nation’s biggest gold producer, Zijin Mining Group Co.(up 4.5%), paced the way for precious metals.

Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., China’s biggest publicly traded steelmaker, rose 0.3% to 7.34 yuan.

Citic Securities led gainers as far as brokerages; advancing 0.9% to 16.26 yuan.

The Hang Seng rose; climbing 341.19 points to close at 24,876.82.

Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd., the nation’s biggest maker of the lightweight metal, advanced 3.6%.

Elsewhere, the smaller markets were mostly up on Friday.

South Korea's Kospi decreased by .18% to 1,938.96.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 closed up by 1.165% to 4,800.000.

Taiwan's Taiex gained 91.49 points.
