TSX Composite up today; shares higher at market open

Investing.com - Canadian equities started with gains on Thursday, with rises in all indices. The rises in Energy, Consumer Discretionary, Real Estate and Consumer Staples indices were the most notable.

At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index climbed 0.48%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap also increased. The TSX Venture rose 0.17%, while the Smallcap was up by 0.34%.

  • Denison Mines (TSX:DML): Climbed 3.93% or 0.09 points to 2.38
  • Cameco (TSX:CCO): Increased 3.51% or 2.02 points to 59.60
  • Energy Fuels Inc (TSX:EFR): Rose 3.48% or 0.230 points to 6.840
