At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index fell 0.65%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap were also down. The TSX Venture dropped 0.55%, while the Smallcap was down by 0.78%.

- Imperial Oil (TSX:IMO): Rose 3.09% or 2.98 points to 99.39.
- Pason Systems Inc (TSX:PSI).: Increased 2.63% or 0.37 points to 14.42.
Top Losers:
- SilverCrest Metals (TSX:SIL): Declined 4.11% or 0.59 points to 13.75.
- Celestica Inc (TSX:CLS).: Dropped 4.03% or 6.02 points to 143.53.
- K92 Mining (TSX:KNT): Fell 3.73% or 0.37 points to 9.56.
In Commodities Trading:
- March Brent Oil Contract climbed by 1.15% or 0.92 points to 80.68 a barrel.
- Crude Oil for February delivery rose 0.95 points to 76.70 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for February delivery dropped 23.24 points to 2,691.76 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD is stable at 1.4407.
- EUR/CAD dropped below 1.47.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 109.785.
