At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index climbed 0.24%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap were also up. The TSX Venture rose 0.39%, while the Smallcap was up by 0.68%.

- Finning International (TSX:FTT): Increased 7.85% or 2.87 points to 39.41.
- Tilray (TSX:TLRY): Climbed 8.28% or 0.12 points to 1.57.
Top Losers:
- Air Canada (TSX:AC): Fell 2.47% or 0.46 points to 18.19.
- MDA Ltd (TSX:MDA): Dropped 2.29% or 0.54 points to 23.06.
- FirstService (TSX:FSV): Declined 2.46% or 6.41 points to 254.16.
In Commodities Trading:
- April Brent Oil Contract dropped by 1.15% or 0.88 points to 75.32 a barrel.
- Crude Oil for March delivery fell 0.62 points to 72.08 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for April delivery climbed 17.41 points to 2,893,21 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD is trading at 1.4282.
- EUR/CAD is at 1.4881.
