Equity markets in Toronto looked set for a higher start on Wednesday
The S&P/TSX composite index was in the red 3.33 points to close Tuesday at 15,125.67, with December futures up 0.1%.

After three consecutive days of declines in the stock markets, the downward trend may be about to break Wednesday.
Ahead of the opening bell, futures for the Dow Jones Industrials was positive 43 points, or 0.3%, to 17,006. Futures for the S&P 500 were up 5.25 points, or 0.3%, to 1,977.25, and futures for the NASDAQ took on 11.50 points, or 0.3%, to 4,048.50.
Markets have pulled back after hitting record highs last week but investors now seem to have regained their composure after being caught off guard by the U.S.-led air strikes against ISIS in Syria.
The U.S. said it also attacked other terrorist groups. A Pentagon spokesperson told some media outlets this is "only the beginning."
Shares in Bed Bath & Beyond were rising by about 7% pre-market after the company reported a jump in quarterly sales after the closing bell Tuesday.
The U.S. government will report new home sales made in August at 10 a.m. ET.
European markets were mostly edging lower in early trading as a new report showed Germany's business climate hit its lowest level in over a year.
