Stock futures pointed to a lower opening for Canada's main stock index on Tuesday, as oil prices fell more than 1% following investor concerns over next week's vote on Britain's future in the European Union.
The S&P/TSX Composite leaned lower 43.66 points Monday to 13,993.88. June futures in Toronto dipped 0.2%.

U.S. stock futures are slipping Tuesday morning.
Ahead of the opening bell, futures for the Dow Jones Industrials faded 48 points, or 0.3%, to 17,591, while futures for the S&P 500 dumped 7.25 points, or 0.4%, to 2,062.50. NASDAQ futures fell 16 points, or 0.4%, to 4,402.75.
Top policymakers at the U.S. Federal Reserve kick off their two-day meeting on Tuesday. An announcement on monetary policy and interest rates will come Wednesday.
This morning, the Census Bureau will release U.S. retail sales data for the month of May. Overall sales increased 1.3% in April compared March based on higher sales of autos, gas and online retail -- but general merchandise store sales were flat.
Many European markets are dipping by more than 1% in early trading. Most Asian markets ended the day with losses.
